DUSHANBE, 05/27/2023 /NIAT "Khovar"/. On May 26, the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan hosted the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference titled "The role of young scientists in the development of science, innovation and technology," NIAT "Khovar" was told at the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.

The conference was attended by students, graduate students, scientists and specialists of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as in a virtual format, the chairmen of the Council of Young Scientists of the Academies of Sciences of the member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, including representatives of foreign scientific centers from the Republic Kazakhstan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Uzbekistan, Russian Federation.

President of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Farhod Rahimi recalled the achievements of the country's youth during the period of independence and noted that the state youth policy is in the focus of attention of the Government and especially the Leader of the Nation, that the state and the Government are implementing various state plans to promote youth policy and involve science and innovations in Tajikistan. Evidence of the above is the organization and holding of various republican competitions in the republic, the search for young talents and future inventors.

It was noted that today the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has created all the opportunities to attract young people in the field of science and innovation, to provide decent conditions for doing science and education, both within the country and abroad. Young scientists can continue their education and research outside the country, taking advantage of the opportunity.

The Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Menu Mamadyusufova provided detailed information about the achievements of young scientists and researchers of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and the significant work of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.

In continuation of the conference with the participation of young domestic and foreign scientists and researchers, virtual scientific reports were heard.

It was noted that holding such events can expand the cooperation of our young scientists and researchers in various scientific areas.

The participants discussed ways to further strengthen research cooperation among themselves in the future and stated that they would attract all available opportunities in this direction.

At the end of the conference, Ardamehr Ashurov, one of the young scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Leading Researcher of the Institute of Asia and Europe of NAST, was awarded the 1st degree Diploma and the badge "Best Researcher of the CIS".
